3/5/09

I’m very excited about this project. I get to show off and practice my art skills. I diffidently like using Flash, it allows me to take my drawings to the next level, and I can modify and perfect anything. I really want this Ferris wheel to be my preloader but I think that it has too much detail, and I don’t want to do that if I don’t have to. I’m most worried about the general background. I don’t want the Flash look, but I don’t do well when it comes to Photoshop, I think 3D would look good also, but there are so many cool brushes I’ve found, I know I could make them even sweeter. Also some time soon I need to take pictures of my original drawings so I can start tracing them.

This is what I started with today, my plans are to finish the ropes and add a lot of detail. I'm thinking of switching a few colors, I think that the sun is too dark for everything else.

The ropes that support the seats for the ride are done, I'm not sure if I should draw them in. I think it'll be way too much for the size of the ferris wheel.

I'm finished with what I'd started the other day and I've changed some colors around also. I want everything to contrast with each other.

When I took the original picture from behind my trace, the ferris wheel was just floating, so I draw a little platform, I think it works.

This is a close up of the left side of my ferris wheel. I'm putting little diamond shaped lights on the inside of the sun rays. I think the angles are off though.

FOR SOME REASON THERES A LOT OF BLANK SPACE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
